macie was awake so i thought i'd take advantage since the camera was out. the other kids like their picture taken too

our tree

just finished decorating our tree. i did most of it a week ago but was missing some ornaments so we found those and the kids helped me finish.

ari's room has the pink curtain, macie's has the crib and curtis' is the green curtain. we are working on painting his room. the top half is yellow and the bottom half will be dark green.

this is our messy kitchen. it has a good view of the living room from the sink. its a nice set up really.

1 month old

macie is 1 month old today! in her first month she has learned to drink, sleep, mess her diaper... lol the obvious things. but she has also smiled a couple times. giggled once, figured out that her feet make her move, her thumbs will help sooth her a little while shes waiting on a bottle. she knows that diaper changes are a good thing. she usually doesn't cry about them. shes learning a lot about faces and people. she has also found her voice. she will wave to certain people if they say hi to her.

i have learned a 3rd isn't a whole lot harder than a 2nd. shes a very good baby and for the most part right now easy to take care of. she usually sleeps at nite between 4-7 hours at a time. she may look a little like ari did but doesn't act or sound like her. i am very grateful for that!!! macie actually cries when she wants something. ari went straight to screaming. she didn't cry for the first several months.
